Pets that have a history of seizures, a grade 4 or higher heart murmur, or a severe flea/tick infestation will be denied surgery. If your pet has an underlying medical condition or regularly takes medication (not monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention), please email spayneuter@sahumane.org prior to scheduling an appointment.
Pets that show signs of aggression and are deemed not safe for staff to handle at intake will be denied.
Age Limit Acceptance: Dogs up to 8 years old and Cats up to 10 years old.

**MUST BE IN AN APPROVED HUMANE CAT TRAP**
NO CAT CARRIERS, NO PLASTIC CAT CARRIERS, OR CARDBOARD CARRIERS.
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled 48 hours prior to surgery for the standard surgical cost to be refunded.
No-shows, cancellations, or change requests later than 48-hour notice are non-refundable and non-transferable.
